Join the California Nurses Association, Inland Equity Partnership, and the Inland Empire Democratic Socialists of America to take action for single-payer healthcare in California! On February 6th all across the state, DSA chapters, CNA, and ordinary working-class people will car caravan for healthcare justice. We’re demanding that Governor Newsom and our local state representatives put people before profit!
This car caravan is a socially distanced action where attendees will each decorate their cars in support of single-payer healthcare, gather at a designated meeting point, and then drive along a pre-set route. We will meet at Meadowbrook Park in San Bernardino at 11 AM on Saturday February 6th.
We will caravan to various locations in San Bernardino. Route maps will be provided. Please make signs in support of single-payer healthcare and attach them to your car before you arrive. Additional signs will be available at the meeting location. Bring noisemakers, water, hats, and masks. This caravan is one of many of events happening across the state on Saturday February 6th. Join our Car Caravan as part of the CalCare Kickoff Day of Action on Saturday, February 6th!
We will demonstrate from our cars with a caravan that will begin with a short program, then we'll all drive around an easy-to-follow route with signs on our cars to demonstrate visible support for guaranteed health care for all Californians. Further details will be emailed to you including start and end locations, a map of the driving route, and safety guidelines.
