Additional Info
For seven and a half years, folks in the Berkeley/Oakland/Richmond area have been represented in the California Senate by Nancy Skinner, a strong champion for good housing laws. She's reaching the end of her term limit and we want to make sure the next Senator continues to be a strong advocate for housing! East Bay YIMBY, East Bay for Everyone, Greenbelt Alliance, and Housing Action Coalition are hosting a candidate forum on September 14th 6:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. to meet the candidates for California Senate District 7, and learn about their policy positions! Doors open at 6 PM, event starts at 6:30 PM. Join us to ask questions and learn about each candidate's priorities. We will take audience questions (in writing, moderated) so think about what questions you'd want us to ask the people running for this seat!

Attend an in-person event to ask candidates/elected officials in your area to sign the Patients Over Profits Pledge, and commit to rejecting campaign donations over $200 from the corporate health care industry. You can read more about the pledge at www.patientsoverprofits.org

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask multiple politicians to sign the pledge. We’ll give you all the training and support you need to be successful.

Thanks for joining us in the fight for health care justice.
