SIGN ON: Prevent Workplace Violence Against Health Care Workers

Across the country, nurses report being punched, kicked, bitten, beaten, choked, and assaulted on the job — and some have even faced stabbings and shootings. The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1195, the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act. This is a vital piece of legislation that would require health care and social service employers to implement comprehensive workplace violence prevention plans, protecting frontline workers like nurses from the very real hazards of the job.

We need you to use your voice in solidarity with nurses. Sign on to tell the Senate that they must pass this legislation to prevent workplace violence.
