Sample Script: 

Hi, my name is _____ and I’m a constituent from ____. I’m calling to ask you to take action to protect nurses and other frontline health care workers. Nurses across the country report that they are still not receiving the personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to safely care for COVID-19 patients.

I am urging you to ensure that the next stimulus package includes a mandate for two critical measures. First, we must have an OSHA emergency temporary standard to protect workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, we must create a comprehensive and transparent medical supply chain system — including the full use of the Defense Production Act to rapidly scale up domestic production of PPE. Both of these priorities are included in the HEROES Act, and I urge you to ensure they are included in the fourth stimulus package negotiated in the Senate. Thank you.
