Rep. Nellie Pou: Petition to Support Medicare for All

We, the undersigned citizens residing in New Jersey’s 9th congressional district, request that you immediately join with 114 members of the House of Representatives, including four in New Jersey  as a co-sponsor of H.R. 3069, the Medicare for All Act of 2025.

The Eagleton Institute for Public Interest Polling completed a poll of New Jersey residents in 2022 indicating that 71% support “expanding Medicare to provide basic health care coverage to every U.S. resident, regardless of age or employment status.”¹

HR 3069 establishes a national health insurance program that is administered by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). It will: (1) cover all U.S. residents; (2) provide for automatic enrollment of individuals upon birth or residency in the United States; and (3) cover items and services that are medically necessary or appropriate to maintain health or to diagnose, treat, or rehabilitate a health condition.
