Nurses Need your Help for Safe Staffing Now!

Kaiser management announced to Discharge Planner RNs that they will be implementing a ratio of 1 Discharge Planner per every 15 patients.

Patients also need more Emergency Room Discharge Planners but management plans on not replacing nurses if someone is out sick. Nurses will have to work short staffed the entire shift, which will cause significant patient care delays. Patients deserve better!

Kaiser management has stated that this is due to budgetary reasons. Kaiser made $12.9 billion in profits last year and yet they continue to shortchange nurses and patients. Kaiser wants to continue to make more money while leaving you and your family without the care you deserve.
