Nurses are patient advocates, and when we see our hospital shirking its responsibility to our patients, we must stand up and speak out.

Right now, Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center has a staffing crisis. We have seen more than 50 nurses leave our hospital in the last year — and we currently have 140 nurse positions open.

We are going on strike to protest management’s failure to respect and value nurses by providing us with the appropriate resources and staff. Management must stop prioritizing profits over patients and community. Kaiser must act now to recruit and retain experienced nurses and increase staffing throughout the hospital.

Use the form below to tell Kaiser Southern California Regional President Julie Miller-Phipps: We support nurses going on strike — nurses and patients need and deserve optimal staffing!
