Tell LCMC Health management to put patients first!

Nurses at University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO) are fighting for a first contract that improves staffing, safety, and patient care in our community. UMCNO management has been intentionally dragging out and frustrating negotiations through bad-faith bargaining. Nurses have been in negotiations since March 2024 for a new contract with little to no indication that management for UMCNO and its operator LCMC Health intend to come to a settlement. Nurses will hold an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) strike starting May 1, 2026 to demand UMCNO and LCMC management settle a contract that addresses our patient care concerns.
