Tell your members of Congress: sign onto Medicare for All!

Representative and Senators,

I am writing to you today about critical legislation in the U.S. Senate and House that would finally guarantee health care as a human right.

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and Reps. Pramila Jayapal and Debbie Dingell reintroduced their companion Medicare for All bills to Congress last year with 15 original cosponsors and 105 original cosponsors respectively. Since then, an additional two Senators and 5 Representatives have signed on; support for Medicare for All as strong as it's ever been both inside and outside of Congress.

Medicare for All attracts majority support across the political spectrum. November 2025 polling shows it is backed by 78% of Democrats, 49% of Republicans, 71% of independents, and 65% of Americans overall, even after hearing common attacks against it.1

Our health care system is failing Americans. ACA plans have become extraordinarily expensive. Medical debt is the number one form of bankruptcy; more money goes to health care now than ever before; and we have worse health outcomes than every other major industrialized nation.

The United States has an opportunity to finally join the rest of the world in providing guaranteed quality health care to its citizens by passing Medicare for All. There is no more time to waste.

I hope I can count on you to sign on as a cosponsor of Medicare for All legislation as soon as possible. Thank you.
