We are alarmed to hear reports from nurses across the country who’ve been threatened and disciplined for advocating for the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) we so desperately need.

It is unacceptable that while nurses are on the front lines, fighting a global pandemic, they are facing retaliation by hospital management for speaking out about unsafe working conditions. 

I stand with nurses, and demand that the American Hospital Association (AHA) immediately take action to stop its member hospitals from disciplining nurses over advocating for proper PPE. When nurses are in danger, patients are in danger.
