Power to Heal is an hour long documentary that recounts the fundamental role that Civil Rights activists played in the historic struggle to desegregate thousands of hospitals across the country, and how the passage of the Civil Rights Act and Medicare made this possible. The film explores the essential role of grassroots movements in the fight for social change, and reminds us of how central the continued fight for racial justice must be in our current fight to win Medicare for All.
