We’re so excited to have you join our network of health care workers and community members as we stand up for frontline nurses, other health care workers, and the safety of patients.  Studies show that assigning more patients per nurse has been linked to a higher risk of medical errors, complications, and readmissions, as well as higher death rates. And for nurses, it can often contribute to burnout and injuries on the job. That is why the Nurse Advocacy Network Safe Staffing Team was created! We are ready to mobilize to ensure that frontline health care workers have the protections and safety standards they need to care for patients. 

The Nurse Advocacy Network Safe Staffing Team will advocate for mandatory, minimum, safe, nurse-to-patient ratios in hospitals nationwide! 

As we work to hold our elected officials, health care employers and other decision-makers accountable, we know that our ability to come together and take action gives us the power we need to win!
