Are you concerned about changes to the vaccine schedule?
The U.S. recently reached an alarming public health milestone: measles cases have just reached their highest peak in decades. Nurses and other health care workers are at high risk of occupational exposure to infectious diseases like measles, and health care employers must have plans to protect them. This spike in cases comes as the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) plans to “re-examine” the childhood immunization schedule, including the recommendations for Hepatitis B and measles vaccines.
